Czech Match Limited was incorporated on 19th February 2004 and is based near Tain in the Scottish Highlands. We aim to recruit workers from Board level executives and professionals to unskilled workers across most industries and services including Agriculture, Construction, Education, Engineering and Manufacturing, Finance and Banking, Health and Healthcare, I.C.T., Office and Support Services (inc translation), Retail and Service Sector, Sales and Marketing, Transport, Travel and Hospitality from Eastern Europe and the new European Union (E.U.) member countries to fill the skills gaps here in the United Kingdom (U.K.).
Originally we anticipated working almost exclusively with Czech citizens who wish to come and work in the U.K., but since incorporation we have extended our search criteria to include citizens of E.U. member countries and other European Economic Area (E.E.A.) countries. We also recruit from others countries for clients who are expanding their international operations. Increasingly we are recruiting UK citizens who wish to gain/change employment within the U.K. or abroad.
Like other Recruitment Companies in the U.K., we do not require to register with any Government Department though this may change as a consequence of discussions being held in the European Parliament and Commission. Recruitment Agencies who hire out staff in the “temp to perm” field and in certain niche areas, e.g. Nursing Recruitment are covered by specific regulations, which do require registration. Until we achieve registration in any of these areas, we will only pursue our aims through the services of partner companies, which are registered.
We require to meet the standards laid down by the Employment Agencies Act 1973 as amended by subsequent legislation of the U.K. and Scottish Parliaments and we will always aim to provide a standard of service to our clients, candidates and members of the public which at least meets these requirements. Guidance on the standards expected of Recruitment Companies can be noted on the website of the Department of Trade and Industry and are contained in its publication PL971 (Rev 3).
As part of our portfolio of services to our clients, we have begun to enter into Strategic Alliances with a network of partner Recruitment Agencies and Companies we are building throughout the world. Our network already extends to companies in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, 7 of the 10 countries which joined the E.U. in 2004 and Romania and Bulgaria who both joined the E.U. in 2007. We can also source workers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, China, Vietnam and the Philippines. Other companies are linking with us every month and each adds a new dimension to the range and depth of services we can offer to our clients.
We also retain a large portfolio of Senior Managers and Company Directors both within the U.K. and in other countries who have served on Regional, National and/or International company Boards and who are available for short-term or Non-Executive Board appointments/consultancy appointments with companies in countries throughout the E.U. and the rest of the world.
In September 2007 as part of our aim of delivering an ever improving service to our clients and candidates, we acquired the recruitment arm of our main agent Moravian Exports s.r.o. known as “Jobs in England”. Based in Brno, the second city of the Czech Republic, itself located in the south-east corner of the country in ancient Moravia, it is only some 2 hours by road from Vienna and Bratislava and a little further to Budapest.
